Sasso San Gottardo presents temporary exhibition on the Steamboat Schiller
Goethe in the Land around the Gotthard

From May 24th, the Museum Sasso San Gottardo will be presenting a temporary exhibition on the Steamboat Schiller, operated by the SGV navigation company. The focus will be on Goethe's travels through the Swiss heartland and around Lake Lucerne. The poet laureate and naturalist visited the lake for the first time 250 years ago. Inspired by the Gotthard region, he wrote the legend of Tell and researched the land, its people and the customs of the mountains.
